Optimal Visiting Times: The museum tends to be less crowded between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM. Take advantage of this quieter time by grabbing a quick bite to eat and then exploring Halls 2 and 3 while most visitors are on their lunch break.
Avoiding Crowds: If you encounter a long queue in Hall 1, it’s best to take the stairs to the upper levels. I rarely saw queues in Halls 2 and 3, as guided tours typically start in Hall 1.
Explore the Archaeology Museum: The first half of Hall 1 connects to the Shaanxi Archaeology Museum, which tends to have fewer visitors and offers an in-depth look at exhibits with interactive facilities.
